Belong to what?

Tau Kappa Epsilon is the largest international college fraternity, with more than 300 chapters and colonies in the United States and Canada. TKE was founded at Illinois Wesleyan University on January 10, 1899.

It grew from an idea first expressed by five students for an organization whose avowed purpose was "to aid college men in mental, moral, and social development."

Wilson Speech

The TKE founders created an organization dedicated to selecting members for their individual merits than their "station in life." Today, TKE retains the slogan, "Not for wealth, rank or honor, but for personal worth and character."
